EA Sports has officially revealed the Top 27 players in FC 27, giving fans an early look at some of the stars expected to shape the new Ultimate Team season.

At the top of the men's rankings are Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland, both rated 91 OVR. On the women's side, Alexia Putellas also reaches 91 OVR, placing her among the highest-rated players in the entire game.

Mbappé and Haaland Remain at the Top
Mbappé's combination of pace, dribbling and finishing should once again make him one of the most desirable attacking options in FC 27. Haaland offers a very different profile, with his physical presence and finishing making him particularly dangerous around the penalty area.

Their 91 ratings put both players at the top of the men's list, but several other elite footballers are close behind. This should create plenty of high-end options for players when FC 27 Ultimate Team begins.

Michael Olise Receives a Major Upgrade
One of the most interesting changes involves Michael Olise. Following his performances for Bayern Munich, the winger has received a significant ratings boost in FC 27.

Upgrades like this can have a major impact on Ultimate Team. Players who combine strong pace, dribbling and technical attributes often become popular choices even when their overall rating is lower than that of the biggest superstars.

The full ratings reveal should therefore be about much more than simply identifying the highest OVR cards.

What the Ratings Mean for Ultimate Team
Official ratings give players their first opportunity to start thinking seriously about squad building.

High-rated superstars will naturally attract attention, but chemistry, formation and individual PlayStyles can be just as important. In many cases, a slightly lower-rated player who fits a particular tactical system can perform better than a more expensive alternative.

Once the FC 27 transfer market becomes active, players will also need to decide how they want to build their squads. More Ratings Are Still Worth Watching
The Top 27 reveal is only part of the FC 27 ratings story. Club ratings, league rankings and individual player comparisons will continue to generate discussion as players prepare for launch.

Potential bargains could be especially interesting. While Mbappé, Haaland and other elite cards will likely command huge attention, some of the most useful early-game players may come from lower-rated cards with the right combination of pace, physical attributes and PlayStyles.

With EA Sports FC 27 scheduled for release on September 25, 2026, the ratings reveal is another major step toward the beginning of a new Ultimate Team cycle. For now, Mbappé and Haaland sit at the top—but discovering which players actually dominate the FC 27 meta will be the bigger story once the game is in players' hands.
