If you want to efficiently handle the endgame PvE progression in Aion 2, mastering your daily and weekly instance runs is absolutely non-negotiable. Dungeons are the core engine behind your character's power growth. They are structured across three main tiers: Solo Challenges, 4-Player Party Dungeons, and coordinated 8-Player Raids. Each tier serves a specific purpose, dropping vital upgrade materials like Enhance Stones, Celentium, and elite tier gear sets.

To help you plan your grind and maximize your playtime, here is a complete breakdown of every dungeon type, what you stand to win, and how often you can get in.

Solo Dungeons
Solo instances are designed to be brief, high-yield activities. They are perfect for when you want to log in, make meaningful progress, and farm materials at your own convenience without the hassle of assembling a group.

Weekly Dungeons (In-Game "Daily Dungeons")

What it is: Don't let the in-game name fool you—tracking is actually handled on a weekly basis. This is a timed, three-stage instance where you fight off intensifying waves of mobs under a ticking clock while actively dodging stage hazards.

Primary Rewards: Massive drops of Enhance Stones (you can pull in up to 10,000 depending on your clear score). You will also run into specific variants like the Odelium Repository, which drops pet fragments, and the Secret Depository, which hands out raw Kinah or player-choice reward bundles.

Entry Limit: 14 entries per account each week. This originally used to be 7 runs per character, but the developers revised it to account-wide tracking to make things fairer for alt characters. If you need more resources, you can consume Bio-Research Base Challenge Tickets to buy up to 30 extra runs per week.

Nightmare Solo Dungeons

What it is: A progressive gauntlet of single-boss encounters that scale up through Challenge Levels 1 to 10. The rules are simple: you beat a level, you unlock the next tier of difficulty.

Primary Rewards: Dream Fragments, a dedicated currency you can spend at the special event shop to pick up wings, cosmetic skins, growth materials, and character-boosting statues. On top of that, seasonal rank rewards are mailed directly to you based on how high you manage to climb the ladder.

Entry Limit: 2 clears per day. There is a great quality-of-life feature here: once you manually clear a difficulty tier, you can use "Insta-Tickets" to instantly sweep it and claim the rewards without having to fight the boss all over again.

Ascension Trials

What it is: A pure speed-run trial that tests both your character build and your mechanics. You will need to blitz through multiple rooms filled with puzzles and mobs as fast as humanly possible before a strict timer runs out.

Primary Rewards: Celentium (the highly valuable supply depot currency), Ariel trace fragments (used to morph Donian or Ariel crystals for permanent PvE power expansion), and Mana Stones.

Entry Limit: 3 entries per character every week.

Party Dungeons (4-Player)
When you step into 4-player content, teamwork actually begins to matter. These instances require a traditional, optimized role setup—meaning you will need reliable DPS, dedicated Tanks, and alert Healers. You also need to know boss mechanics inside and out if you want to survive.

Conquest Dungeons

What it is: These are Level 45+ introductory and seasonal endgame instances designed specifically to bridge the transition between your leveling journey and top-tier raiding. Maps like "Drop Me" feature progressive layouts with multiple bosses, and you will have to deal with strict hard enrage timers that check your team's total damage output.

Primary Rewards: High-tier Gold Gear. This is exactly what you need to pump up your overall gear score and combat power, alongside rare materials required for crafting endgame items.

Entry Limit: These runs reset on the standard weekly maintenance cadence.

Transcendence Dungeons

What it is: This is ultra-difficult, high-item-level group content meant for seasoned squads. Maps like the "Mirror of Scarlet Desire" pit your group against incredibly complex boss encounters with unforgiving mechanics.

Primary Rewards: Exclusive Arcana Sets and Cards. These cards plug directly into your Arcana progression system, granting massive item-level boosts and unique strategic advantages that change how your class plays.

Entry Limit: These do not have a hard numerical entry lock. Instead, access is strictly governed by high gear-score requirements (for example, newer maps demand a minimum item level of 3,200 just to step through the door).

8-Player Raids
Raids represent the true pinnacle of coordinated PvE in Aion 2. If you are going in here, make sure your team is highly synchronized.

Endgame Raids

What it is: These are medium-form, 10-to-15 minute instances consisting of multiple mini-bosses that culminate in an epic, final boss fight. Current content features maps like "Sanctuary" and the freezing "Snowfield of Lemonation."

Primary Rewards: Ariel's Trace Fragments (absolutely paramount for crafting permanent power-boosting crystals), high-end Amplify Stones, and top-tier endgame weapons.

Entry Limit: You get unlimited attempts, but only 7 successful reward claims per week. A major quality-of-life update removed execution lockouts completely, meaning you can fail, wipe, or retry an encounter infinitely with no penalty. You only use up an entry limit when you actually defeat the boss and open that final loot chest, up to 7 times a week.

*** Quick Strategy Tip: To make the most of your progression, prioritize your Solo Dungeons daily to stack up your baseline materials and currency, group up with your guild weekly for Conquest Gear resets, and save your 8-Player Raids for when your squad is optimized enough to consistently clear the final boss chests.
