Diablo IV's in a weird spot right now. Mephisto's gearing up for his big move in the Season of Reckoning, and the whole vibe is dark as hell. The expansion Lord of Hatred's bringing us to Skovos, two new classes-Paladin and Warlock-plus a bunch of endgame stuff. But honestly, a lot of players are more focused on getting their builds together and farming efficiently. You can grab some solid
Diablo 4 Items deals if you're looking to skip the grind and jump straight into the action. The game's still fun, but there's a lot going on behind the scenes.
June 10 Patch Fixes
The big June 10 patch didn't touch class balance at all-no skill buffs or Unique tweaks. Instead, it fixed a bunch of annoying progression blockers. Like, you could get stuck in the "Of Void and Vessel" quest if you died during the final boss or killed the First Midwife too early. Also, War Plan progression would break if you disconnected while claiming rewards. And the Horadric Cube? It used to eat your socketed Runes or Gems when you recycled a Unique. That's fixed now, thank God. There were also Nightmare Dungeon portal bugs-Path of Coin could trap you if you teleported out and back in, and Greed is Good could spawn multiple portals. Helltide's Bloodwyrms were dealing way too much damage without the Bound by Blood node active. So yeah, it's a stability patch, not a meta changer.
Known Issues After the Patch
But don't think everything's smooth. There's still a laundry list of bugs. On console, you can't use the item filter in local multiplayer, you can't claim a free cosmetic in couch co-op, and a World Boss doesn't show on the map. Echoing Hatred is apparently not counting Elite kills either. On PC, the Helltide overlay disappears sometimes, you can't claim the Flamefinger's Claws cosmetic, and the Kill 10 Butchers objective can bug out. Transfiguring might remove Critical Strike Damage-nobody's sure if it's visual or actual. Also, Druid armory saves get greyed out, and Paladin Basic and Core skills go grey after hitting level 6-8. If you're tired of dealing with all this and just want to play, some folks prefer to
Diablo 4 Items buy options to speed things up, but watch out for those bugs first.
Season of Reckoning and What's Coming
Season of Reckoning's the current season-Mephisto's influence spreading, a ton of Season Rank challenges, and updates to the Tower and Leaderboards Beta. But honestly, the details are thin. No one's sure about the exact number of challenge tiers, what's in the Reliquary rewards, or how the Tower actually works. War Plan nodes like Hellmouth and Bound by Blood are still a bit mysterious. And the Lord of Hatred expansion's bringing Paladin and Warlock, but the Spiritborn from Vessel of Hatred is already out. The Age of Hatred Collection bundles everything together. It's a lot to keep track of, but if you're into the grind, there's plenty to do-just don't expect clear patch notes on balancing anytime soon.
